Shannon Princess: For avid walkers, the lush countryside along the River Shannon provides a truly wonderful trail for this charter only cruise.  The Barge cruises a unique & beautiful route little changed through the centuries. We moor at pretty lakeside villages and towns along the waterway. From the luxury of your floating home – Shannon Princess we explores trails and ancient walkways steeped in mythology & history.

The Walks: Our Walking Cruise walks  take in The Pilgrims Path, The Slieve Bloom Way, The Arra Mountains and the neolithic Graves of The Leinstermen and The Tain trail on Lough Ree.

Professional Guide: All walks are hosted by our professional Walking Guide .Each of our daily walks will  cover between 14 & 20 km.

River Shannon: Imagine the sensation of fresh air gently awakening your senses as your eyes feast onto undisturbed flora and fauna.  The smells that greet you will be a heady mix of wild flowers from Angelica to Willow herb and the sights will be of river banks coloured with an array of wild flowers.
